Investigation into the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala is still ongoing, and Punjab Police have come across some leads during their investigation.
Sidhu Moosewala was shot near Mansa while he was driving his Thar. Canada-based Goldy Brar took the responsibility for his murder, and with him, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who is currently in Tihar Jail is the mastermind of the whole plan.
A call recording allegedly of Lawrence Bishnoi, and the murderer of Sidhu Moosewala, went viral on social media. The call recording spread like wildfire on the internet. We could hear two men converse on one end.
The incoming call for Lawrence came from the Jail and whoever was on the other end told Lawrence about Sidhu’s death and congratulated him.
But is this phone call recording accurate, or a misleading factor in this high-profile murder case?

Significantly, Punjab Police officials have discredited the copy/paste call recording of Lawrence. Besides, as per The Tribune, a police officer who interrogated Lawrence has said that ‘it is not Lawrence’s voice in the phone recording. We know his voice. He is a shooter who calls his master about the successful work, he would inform him excitedly in the first breath. Not after first asking if he (Lawrence) was free to talk’
So, the call recording you are seeing on social media, again and again, is fake and has no credible source. Don’t share these posts; your friends may start believing them because of their prevalence.
Moving on to updates on Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case, two gangsters, Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh, suspected to be involved in Moosewala’s murder were shot dead in an encounter with Punjab Police. Detailed investigations are underway.
